Beth to Receive Bistro Award on May 16

Beth is set to receive a Bistro Award recognizing her cabaret act, It’s Not About Me, for ‘Excellence in Musical Comedy’ at the 37th annual Bistro Awards gala on May 16!

Beth joins 20 other musical artists whose outstanding achievements in the field of cabaret, jazz and comedy will be celebrated at the 37th annual Bistro Awards gala on Monday, May 16, at the Gotham Comedy Club in Manhattan.

Described by The Bistro Awards as “a welcome throwback to the Golden Age of nightclub acts [who] is as at home on the cabaret stage as she is on Broadway stages”, Beth will receive her ‘Excellence in Musical Comedy’ award in recognition of “her mastery of comedy and her billion-dollar belt”.

Beth will be honored for her new cabaret act, It’s Not About Me, which premiered at Feinstein’s/54 Below in New York City in January 2020 and has since been performed at venues across the United States.

Other musical artists to be recognized include three-time Grammy-winning songwriter and performer Jimmy Webb as well as musical comedian and star of her own weekly variety show, The Lineup, Susie Mosher.

A celebration of cabaret, jazz, and comedy through their insightful reviews, feature articles and commentary pieces, The Bistro Awards are the oldest award of their kind in the industry.

Tickets for the event range from $75.00 to $275.00. Ticket buyers in all categories are invited to the Bistro After Party as guests of the Bistro Awards.
